We preach the Bible expositionally . . .
Expositional preaching means that the main point of the sermon is the main point of the biblical passage being preached. Rather than coming to the Bible with our own ideas, we want to learn from what the Bible teaches and apply those truths in our lives.
Most often, we preach straight through books of the Bible over the course of a few weeks or a few months. The Apostle Paul reminds Timothy that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16 ESV), so we prioritize the Bible as our source for everything we need to live out the Christian life.
