Northwest Gospel Church exists to glorify God
as a family of faith being saved by His grace.

Sundays

Preaching

We preach the Bible expositionally. This means that every week we are preaching through a passage of Scripture, and the point of the sermon is the point of the passage. We believe, as the Bible teaches, that God has given us his Word to teach us, encourages us, challenge us, and grow us as his people. No matter the Sunday, the season, or the sermon series, the Bible is opened, read aloud, explained, and applied to our lives. Listen to a sermon.

Singing

We love singing at NGC. On any given Sunday, we can be heard singing a wide selection of songs in a wide selection of styles. Some songs are hundreds of years old, rooted in Church history; others have been written in months—or even weeks. Some weeks the band is big, other weeks the band is smaller. But regardless, we sing loudly, and we joyfully proclaim gospel truth with our voices unified in praise. Come sing with us.

Communion

In 1 Corinthians 11, the Apostle Paul reminds the church of the meal instituted by the Lord Jesus the night that he was betrayed. Every Sunday, we thoughtfully receive the communion elements together as we remember the perfect life, atoning death, and glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. Read more about our beliefs.

Fellowship

In addition to preaching, singing, and receiving communion, Sundays are a time for the NGC family to be together and grow as Christian brothers and sisters. We love to show up early and stay late connecting with and praying for one another. Sundays are an especially sweet time as we are all in the same place at the same time praising our God and encouraging each other toward faithfulness in the Christian life. Join us on a Sunday.

During the Week

Community Groups

Outside of the Sunday gathering, Community Groups are the primary place for people to grow in community with one another. A lot of life happens in these groups as, more and more, we know others and are known by others. Community Groups generally meet weekly or bi-weekly in people’s homes to read the Bible together, discuss recent sermons, play games, prayer, and enjoy good food. Find a Community Group.

Bible Studies

While we open our Bibles every chance we get, Bible studies are special opportunities we have throughout the week to really dig into the truths of God’s word. There are several Bible studies for men and women currently meeting, and we regularly have other groups starting up to study a particular book of the Bible or theme in Scripture. Join a Bible study.

Every Opportunity We Have . . .

Honestly, we just love spending time together as a local church family. So, in addition to Community Groups and Bible studies, we have lots of hangouts and events every month of the year. Quarterly women’s events, monthly men’s breakfasts, regular all-church potlucks, and other events are just a few of the excuses that we come up with to spend time together and grow as a community of Christ-followers.
